Job summary

Hutchinson Group in Hopkinton, MA is seeking motivated candidates to join our machining team. Training will be provided for CNC milling and related operations; basic blueprint reading and measuring tools are required to begin a manufacturing career.

Candidates should be able to read procedures, follow work instructions, and work well in a team environment. Ideal applicants will have some machining exposure, basic math, and computer/technical skills.

Qualifications

Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to operate CNC Lathes.
CNC milling (will provide training).
Basic blueprint reading.
Basic understanding of measuring tools: Micrometers, calipers, micro height.
The ability to understand basic math.
Computer and technical skills.
Willing to cross train on other machinery (Molding presses, laser marking, Prototrak milling machine, packing, assembly) and work in RR cell or HSA.
Be able to understand and follow established procedures and work instructions.
Basic understanding of shop routers/travelers or willingness to learn.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow.
US citizen or hold permanent residency status
