Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use hand and shop tools with minimal supervision.
• Proven mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills.
• Excellent attention to detail for CNC programming.

Responsibilities

• Create new CNC programs for production to minimize cycle time while ensuring safe production.
• Troubleshoot CNC equipment and modify tooling/programming as needed.
• Run first-piece samples and machine small orders while training production for larger orders.
• Complete required records for work performed.
• Develop and update risk assessments and review them annually.
• Follow safety rules and report dangerous situations, near-misses, and injuries.
• Run fixtures changes and inspect first pieces with Quality.
• Cross-train with maintenance on manual machining (lathe & mill).
