Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a dependable CNC Machinist to join the 1st shift production team in the United States. The role requires setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components that meet customer specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, operate mills/lathe centers, load programs, and perform first-piece through final inspections, ensuring safety and quality while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Load programs and make minor offsets and tooling adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and gauges.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Change tooling and replace inserts as needed to maintain production efficiency.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic machining issues.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to improve processes and productivity.
