Staffmark is seeking a CNC Machinist in Broussard, LA to set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components. The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting tolerances, and performing precise measurements with calipers and micrometers.

You will troubleshoot machining issues, adjust tooling, and maintain quality while ensuring a safe, organized work area. Experience with CNC programming is a plus; HS diploma or GED is required.

Formación

• Requires 2-3 years of CNC lathe or mill experience.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Independent work style and ability to follow production requirements.
• G-code programming/editing experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.
• Make machine adjustments and tool changes as needed.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required tolerances.
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
