Job summary

Qualdoc seeks an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to produce precision components on CNC lathes and mills. This hands-on role requires strong blueprint reading, CNC programming and setup skills, and the ability to hold tight tolerances.

The position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, starting at $27.00/hour, and the opportunity for higher pay based on experience. Safety and quality are essential in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines.
• Ability to read machining drawings and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of G-code.
• Experience with CNC lathes and mills.
• Ability to use precision inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges).
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills.
• Develop and modify programs using G-code.
• Work with Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain controls.
• Produce components to tight tolerances, including 0.0005 inches.
• Inspect finished work with precision measuring equipment.
• Monitor machining operations and adjust for accuracy.
• Maintain production quality and minimize rework.
• Follow safe practices in a heavy industrial environment.
• Maintain dependable attendance and schedule adherence.
• Occasionally work Saturdays if required.
