Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will read blueprints, ensure tight dimensional tolerances, and maintain consistent part quality.

The position involves programming with G-code, working with various controls (Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain), and lifting up to 50 lbs. 1st shift; hours are 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with possible Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC programming and machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Knowledge of G-code programming.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Willing to work extended shifts and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills.
• Review drawings and technical specifications.
• Develop and modify programs using G-code.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges.
• Maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy.
