Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer for first shift to produce precision industrial components. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills using Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain controls, while reading drawings and maintaining tight tolerances.

The position requires proficiency in G-code, strong measurement skills, and attention to detail. Overtime and Saturday work may be required in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and machining CNC lathes and mills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of G-code programming.
• Strong measurement and inspection skills.

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings and machining specifications.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills.
• Create/modify CNC programs using G-code.
• Maintain tolerances as tight as 0.0005 inch.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges.
• Ensure quality and safety in a heavy industrial environment.
