You will work with multiple controls (Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain) and must measure parts with precision tools, ensuring quality and safe operation in a heavy industrial environment. Overtime and some Saturdays are required.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:0 AM–4:30 PM
Saturday: 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
Schedule: Approximately 56 hours/week
Pay: Up to $33/hour, depending on experience
Employment: Potential Temp-to-Hire after 90 days

Position Overview

Seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer to produce precision‑machined industrial components. This role requires the ability to program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills while working from technical drawings and maintaining tight dimensional tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings and machining specifications.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills.
• Create and modify CNC programs using G-code.
• Work with Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain controls; experience with every control is not required.
• Maintain machining tolerances as tight as 0.0005 inch.
• Measure and verify finished parts using precision instruments, including:

• Inspect completed work to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Maintain consistent production and machining standards.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC programming and machining experience.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Ability to read and understand technical machining drawings.
