Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer for 1st shift to produce precision components. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills from technical drawings while maintaining tight tolerances.

You will work with multiple controls (Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain) and must measure parts with precision tools, ensuring quality and safe operation in a heavy industrial environment. Overtime and some Saturdays are required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret shop drawings and machining specifications.
• Experience with G-code programming for CNC machines.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Strong precision measurement and ability to maintain tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings and machining specifications.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills.
• Create and modify CNC programs using G-code.
• Work with various CNC controls (Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain).
• Maintain machining tolerances as tight as 0.0005 inch.
• Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges.
• Inspect completed work for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Maintain consistent production and machining standards.
• Follow safe work practices in a heavy industrial environment.
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive prepared for scheduled shifts.
• Work overtime, including Saturdays.
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
