Pol-Tech Machining is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our Woodruff, SC shop. The role focuses on setting up, programming, and running CNC machines to deliver high-precision parts.

You will interpret blueprints and GD&T, optimize programs, and ensure tight tolerances in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates bring experience with G-code, Mastercam, and a background in Swiss lathe, EDM, or multi-axis milling.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as CNC Machinist or Programmer in precision machining.
• Proficiency in G-code programming and CAM software (Mastercam).
• Expertise in Swiss Lathe, EDM (or willingness to learn quickly), and/or multi-axis milling (3, 3+2, 5-axis).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T callouts.

Aufgaben

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components.
• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Perform in-process quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs or tooling as needed.
• Select cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding for each job.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area per shop standards.
