Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a skilled CNC Machinist in Missouri to set up and operate 3- and 5-axis milling centers and CNC lathes, read blueprints, and adjust parts to close tolerances. You will perform first-piece inspections, maintain clean work areas, and follow standard work instructions and PPE guidelines.

You will rotate among cells, perform quality checks, print labels, pack finished products, and collaborate with supervision to resolve production issues while following safety and lean 5S

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma required.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and BOMs.
• Experience with CNC milling centers and CNC lathes.
• Perform first piece inspection and ongoing quality checks.
• Maintain clean, safe work area per 5S and PPE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3- and 5-axis CNC milling centers and lathes.
• Adjust, trim and fit parts to close tolerances.
• Read blueprints or job orders for specifications and tool instructions.
• Position and secure tools and workpieces; set feeds, speeds, depths of cut.
• Perform first-piece inspection and verify conformity to specs.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety throughout the shift.
• Rotate assignments across cells as needed; follow supervision guidance.
