Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a CNC operator to run NC, CNC, milling and turning machines and perform minor setup as needed. You will read blueprints, measure parts with precision tools, and document quality data to ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities include maintaining 5S in the workspace and escalating any safety or machining issues to supervision, while contributing to continuous improvement efforts with the team.

Qualifications

• Able to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Basic math skills for tolerances and measurements.
• Proficiency in using measuring devices like micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Physical dexterity to lift and handle parts and operate equipment.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC/NC, milling and turning machines; perform minor setup.
• Use precision measuring devices to verify part accuracy to print.
• Read and interpret blueprints; inspect components for defects.
• Document quality data and RTY information as required.
• Maintain 5S standards in tools, machines and work area.
• Escalate safety or machining issues to supervisors.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
