Job summary

In Motion Systems Group and Electronic Controls and Motion Division in Irwin, PA is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to program, setup, and operate CNC centers in a precision environment. You will support daily production goals and work with tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate reads blueprints, measures parts with micrometers and CMM, and maintains safety and quality. Opportunities exist to grow skills in programming, setup, and inspection.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CNC programming
• Reading blueprints and GD&T
• Strong shop math proficiency
• Ability to interpret drawings and tolerances

Responsibilities

• Program, setup, and operate CNC machining centers to support daily production goals.
• Manufacture parts, select tooling, and determine machining strategies for new designs.
• Program from scratch or modify existing programs to meet work instructions.
• Inspect machined parts with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, thread gauges, and CMM.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and perform routine machine maintenance.
