Job summary

System One, Inc. in Irwin, PA is seeking a CNC Machinist Programmer to program, set up and run CNC centers in a precision manufacturing environment. The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and shop math, plus the ability to adapt programs for new parts and meet daily output targets.

You will supervise setups, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety while supporting continuous improvement and cost and quality goals. Onsite, standard 40‑hour schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CNC programming codes and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficiency in shop math and geometric tolerancing.
• Experience with setting up and running CNC machining centers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a lean manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and run CNC machining centers in a precision environment.
• Machine newly designed parts and select appropriate tooling and strategies.
• Create programs from scratch or modify existing ones for new parts.
• Read detailed instructions to meet quality and output targets.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers and CMM.
• Operate tools safely and perform hand finishing and maintenance.
• Lead setups and fixture use as assigned, manage materials and chemicals safely.
