The Minco Group is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Dayton, OH to set up and operate CNC machines for precision cutting, drilling, milling, and finishing of metal and non-metal parts. You will read blueprints, install tooling, and adjust machine controls to meet exact specifications.

Regular inspection, cleanup, and safety adherence are essential. The role requires 2–4 years of trade school or related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work from detailed plans.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control setting, and machining methods and sequences.
• Loads control media in machine controller or enters commands to retrieve pre-programmed instructions.
• Calculates and sets machine controls to position spindle in relation to work piece.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints and data to determine tooling and setup.
• Mounts, aligns, and secures tooling and work piece on the machine.
• Selects and installs cutting tools in machine spindle.
• Loads control media or enters commands to follow pre-programmed instructions.
• Sets machine controls to align with work piece and desired dimensions.
• Operates machines and monitors for proper operation and precision.
