Job summary

Jackson Furniture Industries is seeking a Router Operator to produce wooden machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine. This role requires concentration, precision, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

The 2nd shift runs 4:30 pm to 3 am, Monday through Friday. You will translate schedules into CNC programs, load materials, perform test runs, verify dimensions, and inspect finished pieces while maintaining daily machine readiness in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Measuring and math skills required.
• Ability to enter CNC programs and verify information.
• Must work PM shift and overtime as needed.
• Previous CNC experience highly preferred.
• Safety is the top priority.

Responsibilities

• Produce and sort cut wooden pieces for furniture frames.
• Prepare, maintain and operate CNC machines to perform tasks.
• Translate scheduled orders into CNC programs and verify inputs.
• Load OSB and plywood, run test to ensure pieces meet specs.
• Set machine to production, monitor execution, and adjust as needed.
• Inspect finished pieces and verify measurements.
• Sort parts for next production phase and maintain daily machinery readiness.
• Perform daily checks to ensure machinery functions properly.
