Job summary

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join an established industrial manufacturing company on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for operating multi-axis CNC machinery to produce precision components while maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, efficiency, and workplace safety.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC machining experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to make machine adjustments, troubleshoot issues, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Experience operating 4-axis or 5-axis CNC machinery strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining tolerances.
• Strong shop math skills and understanding of machining principles.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments to inspect finished components.
• Ability to make program edits, adjust machine offsets, and troubleshoot machining setups.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines for turning, milling, boring, and threading.
• Run 4-axis and 5-axis CNC equipment per specs.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and QC docs.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools for dimensions and tolerances.
• Make offsets, edits, and adjustments to maintain quality and output.
• Prove tooling and processes for new jobs before release.
• Operate in automatic, MDI, and manual modes as needed.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety, QC, and manufacturing best practices.
