Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in Devens, MA is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to operate CNC lathe and/or mill machines, supporting manufacturing based on shop demand.

The role focuses on producing high‑quality parts for aerospace, defense, satellite, and medical devices in an environmentally controlled facility. The weekend day shift (Friday–Sunday and every other Thursday, 6am–6pm) requires reading drawings, setting offsets, first article inspection, and collaboration with Quality and Engineering to

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with 3 and 4 CNC Milling Centers, 2-axis and multi axis, live tooling lathes.
• Ability to read Blueprints and have a good understanding of GD&T.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Adhere to and enforce the company’s health & safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to and enforce the company’s quality policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe and/or mill machines (3/4 axis) with proper workholding and tool offsets.
• Set up machines, read drawings, and perform first article inspection.
• Inspect parts during production to ensure dimensional and visual quality.
• Monitor equipment and tooling; troubleshoot breakdowns.
• Follow Process sheets, drawings, and programs; maintain clean work area.
