Job summary

MW Components, Inc. in Cedar Grove, NJ is seeking a Machine Operator I to perform part trimming and drilling to meet daily production needs in a quality-focused shop.

You will operate manual and programmable HAAS machines, read blueprints, and use precision measurement tools to ensure tight tolerances. You’ll record data in the ERP system, maintain a clean workspace, and participate in cross-training as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient in precision measurement and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.
• Trim plated parts to print specs using manual and programmable lathes.
• Core drill parts with manual drill presses, lathes, and programmable HAAS drilling machines.
• Program HAAS machines for drilling operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as directed.
• Record production data in paper travellers and the ERP system.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Communicate maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Inspect work and ensure quality of own output.
