Job summary

MW Components in Cedar Grove, NJ, is seeking a Machine Operator I to perform essential manufacturing steps of part trimming and drilling, ensuring daily production needs are met with quality parts.

You will read blueprints, set up and operate manual and programmable lathes, and use HAAS drilling machines. Maintain records, keep a clean, safe workspace, and assist with other tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and mechanical drawings.
• Able to use precision measuring instruments and document results.
• Capable of using common hand tools.
• Basic arithmetic and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine shop equipment to trim plated parts and drill as per print specifications.
• Use manual and programmable lathes and HAAS drilling machines.
• Record production data accurately and maintain documentation in ERP system.
• Keep work area clean and organized; perform routine maintenance as directed.
