Job summary

Eaton's EPG CHD EP Americas division is seeking a Machine Operator - 1st Shift to join our manufacturing group in Texas. You will operate CNC and automatic tapping/drilling machines, load parts, start cycles, and inspect outputs with calipers or gauges, while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following 5-S principles.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of manufacturing experience, and the ability to work within a 50-mile radius of the location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assure all products meet Eaton Crouse-Hinds standards.
• Recognize and notify supervision of mechanical malfunctions and operating irregularities.
• Operate automatic tapping, drilling and/or reaming machines and CNC machines.
• Position parts into chuck, fixtures, or otherwise load machine.
• Initiate machine cycles and remove machined parts.
• Read and interpret information on screen or blueprint to make adjustments to machines using basic math and CNC/PLC controls.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner, applying 5-S.
