Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Operator - I in its EPG CHD EP Americas division to set up and operate machines that produce quality parts based on drawings and specifications.

The role requires reading blueprints, using gauges/calipers, performing first-piece inspections, and ensuring changeovers are completed accurately. Candidates must be US persons, legally eligible to work in the US, and able to lift 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and using measurement tools.
• Ability to work with various measuring instruments and gauges.
• ITAR compliance required; US person status needed.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple machines according to specifications.
• Observe machining operations for out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust controls.
• Perform first piece inspections and complete measurement checklists.
• Complete changeovers and ensure proper material feed-through.
• Verify finished parts with gauges and calipers against drawings.
