Job summary

You will perform tool changes, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, and contribute to process improvements while supporting multiple manufacturing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC lathe machining experience required.
• Experience using G-codes required.
• Ability to work independently on second shift.
• Strong blueprint reading and machining interpretation skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong shop math and measurement skills.
• Familiarity with general manufacturing safety and quality systems.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to support multiple tasks within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines for precision machining of metallic materials.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality workmanship.
• Monitor and manage tool life performance.
• Perform basic deburring and rework as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues.
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform operator-level machine maintenance and support additional production tasks as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
