Job summary

Calmax Technology in Santa Clara, CA is seeking CNC Lathe Machinists for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will review orders, drawings and specifications to run parts per blueprints and instructions.

You must read and interpret CNC programs to maintain tight tolerances and set up lathe production equipment, calibrating components as needed. The role offers benefits and a 10% second-shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Experience reading GD&T and precision tolerances.
• GED or equivalent educational certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, drawings, materials, specs and machining parameters.
• Read and interpret CNC programs to maintain tolerances.
• Set up lathe equipment and calibrate components.
• Control speed, feed, coolant, depth and angle of cut.
• Enter commands for machine control media following safety/vendor standards.
• Install, maintain, repair and operate lathe tools.
