Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in the United States is seeking a skilled CNC Laser Cutting Operator to set up and operate a CNC laser, load materials, cut, inspect, de-burr, and document parts for the next operation.

You will use CAM nesting, ToPs, and other software, perform First Piece inspections, input production data into ERP, follow safety rules, and maintain a clean, efficient work area while supporting additional machines as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machine; load material and run programs.
• Cut, inspect, de-burr, and document parts for next operation.
• Record time, material, and quantity in ERP software.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean.
• Use CAM nesting and related software; follow safety rules.
• Conduct First Piece inspections and document dimensions per drawings.
• Identify leftover material and dispose of scrap per policy.
• Operate lift truck as needed for material handling.
• Assist with secondary operations on other machines when possible.
• Report discrepancies to supervisor and follow established procedures.
