Job summary

Ohio Laser LLC is seeking a CNC Laser Operator to set up and run laser cutting machinery. You will load materials, program basic parameters, inspect parts, de-burr, and document outcomes in ERP systems.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using precision measuring tools, and knowledge of NC code. A forklift license is a plus, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with ERP software and CNC software; NC code knowledge.
• Ability to perform First Piece inspections and use precision measuring tools.
• Lift truck license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machine and program parameters.
• Load materials, cut, inspect & document parts, de-burr, skid or box, and deliver to next operation.
• Input time, material, and quantity into ERP software.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep work area clean and orderly.
• Follow safety rules and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Other duties may be required as assigned.
