Job summary

OHIO LASER INC is seeking a CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator to set up and run the laser, load materials, cut, inspect and document parts, and deburr for downstream operations.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using precision measuring tools, and entering production data into ERP. Safety, quality, and routine maintenance are part of daily responsibilities, with multiple shifts available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and safety rules.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machine and adjust basic parameters.
• Load material, cut, inspect and document parts, deburr and prepare for next operation.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Input time, material, and quantity produced into ERP system.
• Report discrepancies to supervisor and follow safety rules.
