Job summary

Amerequip Corporation in Wisconsin seeks a skilled Laser Cutter Operator to set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines after the initial training period, ensuring accurate parts and efficient processing.

You will read blueprints, verify programs and material specifications, monitor quality and tolerances, perform routine adjustments (lens/nozzle changes, offsets), and remove finished parts for downstream processes.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Able to perform daily machine checks and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines after training period.
• Set up laser automation and load materials.
• Verify programs, cut paths, and material specs.
• Monitor quality and dimensional tolerances of parts.
• Perform routine adjustments and safeguard operations.
• Remove finished parts and prepare for downstream processes.
• Maintain production records and quality documentation.
• Participate in training to improve laser operation skills.
• Suggest process improvements for safety and efficiency.
