Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Laser Machine Operator to set up, program, and operate laser cutting machines on metal parts. You will work with AMADA, TANAKA, KOIKE, or similar CNC laser systems, reading blueprints and ensuring precise results.

Responsibilities include loading materials, monitoring production, maintaining tools, and verifying specifications. You will uphold ISO/OSHA/ITAR safety, document production data, and collaborate with the team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1 year of laser cutting or related CNC experience.
Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and drawings.
Proficiency with calipers, tape measures, gauges.
Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and safety.
Experience with Amada, Trumpf, Koike machines preferred.
Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and forklift certification optional.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate laser cutting machines to cut and form metal parts.
Load/unload sheet metal, monitor performance, and adjust settings as needed.
Verify materials, thicknesses, and job specs before cutting.
Inspect finished parts with calipers, gauges; document data for traceability.
Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues promptly.
