Job summary

Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division is seeking a CNC Grinder Operator for first shift onsite in Cleveland. You will set up centerless grinder machinery and operate to production standards, ensuring quality and adherence to ISO 9001 guidelines.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year of related experience, or a certificate, ability to read micrometers and calipers, and strong math skills. Starting pay ranges from $24.00 to $30.00 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to a safe,

Qualifications

One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
6 months to 1 year of related experience or training.
Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers; working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and calculating feeds and speeds.
Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.

Responsibilities

Set up centerless grinder machinery.
Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
Inspect product to print, looking for flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
Move completed material to next workstation.
Maintain clean and safe work environment.
