Job summary

Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division is hiring a CNC Grinder Operator for first shift in a fully onsite role. Starting pay is $24.00-$30.00 per hour.

You will set up centerless grinder machinery, operate it to meet production standards, inspect parts to print, move completed material to the next workstation, and maintain a clean, safe work environment per ISO 9001 guidelines. Education: a one year certificate from college or technical school; Experience: 6 months to 1 year related

Qualifications

• Interpret verbal and written directions.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers.
• Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.

Responsibilities

• Set up centerless grinder machinery.
• Operate centerless grinder machinery while upholding production standards and ISO 9001 guidelines.
• Inspect product to print, looking for flaws and material defects; deburring if necessary.
• Move completed material to the next workstation.

We have one opening for CNC Grinder Operator for our first shift.
Starting pay range of $24.00-$30.00/hour.
As a CNC Grinder Operator at Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division your focus will be to:

• Set up centerless grinder machinery.
• Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
• Move completed material to next workstation.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Education: One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.

Experience: 6 months – 1-year related experience or training.

Specific Skills & Knowledge:

• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
• Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
