Job summary

SendCutSend is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and inspect CNC fiber laser equipment for precision-cut sheet metal parts. You will read drawings, verify programs, load material, and perform daily maintenance to keep production flowing.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, English communication, and adherence to LEAN and 5S standards. You will collaborate with team leads to hit daily goals and ensure customer specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic knowledge of CNC systems and machine controls with ability to read drawings.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus and safety adherence.
• Experience with measuring devices and basic hand tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber lasers.
• Load material and unload finished parts from machines.
• Verify correct programs, tooling, and material prior to running jobs.
• Perform machine startup, shutdown, and routine daily maintenance.
• Install and set up punches, dies, and job tooling as required.
• Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings for proper laser and brake setup.
• Measure parts using gauges and inspection tools to verify accuracy.
• Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production goals and communicate issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following LEAN and 5S principles.
• Assist with inventory of tooling such as punches and dies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
