Job summary

AdientOne Consulting is seeking a Machine Operator / CNC Cutting Table Operator to set up and operate CNC plasma/laser cutting equipment, producing metal components according to engineering drawings, nesting programs and production specifications.

You will read blueprints, verify material types and perform in-process inspections while maintaining safety and quality standards in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating CNC plasma cutting equipment or similar CNC machinery.
• Able to read blueprints, engineering drawings and production documents.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate CNC machine controls.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting ability.
• Understanding of safe material handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC plasma/laser cutting tables per specs.
• Read blueprints, nesting layouts, work orders and schedules.
• Load and run CNC programs, verify materials and setup.
• Inspect parts for dimension, edge quality and material use.
• Conduct first-piece, in-process and final inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance and replace consumables.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate maintenance.
• Maintain production records and machine logs.
• Follow safety policies and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with other fabrication tasks as assigned.
