Job summary

Infra Metals Co. is seeking a CNC Operator to operate, set up, and troubleshoot CNC machinery and related equipment to meet quality and productivity goals. You will interpret blueprints, use CAD applications, and ensure drawings are properly attached to work orders.

Strong English communication and basic measuring skills are required; crane and material handling experience is a plus. This role emphasizes safety and timely reporting of production data in a steel fabrication environment.

Qualifications

Experience operating CNC controlled equipment applications.
Ability to read, write and understand English.
Strong measuring skills and use of basic hand tools.
Crane and material handling experience a plus.
Experience in a steel service or fabrication center is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate, set up, and troubleshoot CNC machinery to meet quality and productivity goals.
Maintain machine operation by addressing production and quality data and adjusting as needed.
Interpret blueprints and drawings, using CAD applications to ensure customer requirements are met.
Attach drawings to work orders and communicate progress or missing data to sales.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly production reports in a timely manner.
Adhere to all safety and operation procedures and policies.
Possess ability to operate a remote-controlled overhead crane.
