Job summary

Cayman Chemical in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Chemical Handling Specialist to weigh, aliquot, manage inventory, and enter processed inventory into our system. You will support quality control and maintain equipment, with on-site work and regular reporting to a supervisor.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s in chemistry/biology preferred; proficiency in Excel and ERP; and the ability to stay organized, detail-oriented, and work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in chemistry, biology, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn an ERP system.
• Ability to sit in one spot for long periods and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and aliquot materials; maintain inventory and enter data into the database.
• Ensure quality control per Cayman’s standards and maintain equipment.
• Report status to supervisor; ensure compliance with company policies, safety and regulatory requirements.
