Job summary

PCC Structurals is seeking a responsible on-site Full Time operator to support shell grinding, dewaxing, inspection, insulation preparation, and related tasks. The role requires adherence to safety rules, accurate log keeping, and capability to operate forklifts and autoclaves as part of the manufacturing process.

Applicants should be able to read technical specifications, perform basic math, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

Experience in the investing area preferred.
An equivalent combination of classroom training and work experience.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to read, follow and interpret specification on Technique Cards, routers, and other special instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.
Individuals may have contact with or be required to handle hazardous waste. (LPCT only)

Responsibilities

Grinds mold edges, vents, thermal-coupling tubes, pins and open cups to allow removal of wax per specifications.
Inspects shell for cracks and defects; makes repairs as needed.
Maintains lot integrity and records; logs dewaxed mold weight onto computer terminal.
Operates autoclave and drying ovens; transfers loads to inspection and storage areas.
Cleans work areas and ensures safety practices are followed.
