Job summary

Winchester Ammunition in East Alton, IL is seeking a Primer Centerfire Cap Operator on an hourly schedule. You will assemble, inspect, and package very small components, scoop cups onto plates, and lacquer primer caps, while upholding quality standards and safety rules.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and weekend or overtime flexibility. ITAR data access is required where applicable, and employment is contingent on eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must have flexibility to work weekends and forced overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, inspects, and packages very small components.
• Scoops cups onto plates, assembles cup plates to anvil plates, places in press, and lacquers primer caps.
• Examines product for defects, ensures quality process is followed.
• Adheres to all safety requirements, including lockout/tagout and wearing required PPE.
