Job summary

Winchester Ammunition is seeking a Warehouse Operator in East Alton, IL. You will retrieve pallets, pick cases to fulfill customer orders, and repack boxes for less-than-full case quantities while using a stand-up or sit-down forklift.

This role requires the ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying weather with potential overtime. A positive safety record and compliance with PPE are essential, and forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb ladders, work at heights, in weather elements and extreme temperatures, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work alternative schedules, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve pallets using a mono-rail car within the storage rack system.
• Pick cases to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Repacks boxes of ammunition for orders requiring less-than-full case quantities.
• Utilize a stand-up and sit-down forklift.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and the use of required PPE.
