Job summary

Responsibilities include reviewing tech cards, determining stock removal, using grinders and hand tools, and performing dimensional checks to ensure compliance with tolerances while maintaining a safe work environment. Qualifications

• Grinding skills and working knowledge of grinding tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow tech cards/specifications.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lb, occasionally up to 80 lb.

Responsibilities

• Grind and blend gating and defect areas on castings to meet specifications.
• Finish grinding to provide surface finishing within dimensional tolerances.
• Take dimensional measurements to ensure compliance and mark undersized areas for inspection.
• Inspect castings visually during grinding for quality and safety.
