Job summary

Staccato Ammunition, proudly based in Florence, Texas, is seeking a Case Lathe Operator to join our fast-growing team. You will set up, operate and maintain Brut Case Lathes, following QA procedures to ensure precision and consistency across each cartridge.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will read schematics, verify parts, perform preventative maintenance, and uphold safety standards while working a 4x10 day shift. High School Diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and good judgment.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, indicators).
• Previous machine shop experience and familiarity with lathe turning tools and techniques a plus.
• Basic computer skills and good verbal communication.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or LEAN principles.
• Ability to work 4x10 day shift schedule (Mon–Thu).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must lift 50 pounds and work standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of Brut Case Lathes, setup and calibration.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain Brut Case Lathes.
• Verify accuracy with calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Read and adhere to product schematics and prints.
• Identify and report non-conformances with data trends.
• Meet manufacturing and efficiency targets.
