Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience in CNC milling/lathe operation and setup.
• Experience with CNC machines in manufacturing or technical training environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills.
• Familiarity with micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC lathe or manual machines to machine parts.
• Loads parts, cycles machine, and monitors tool wear.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management.
• Maintains clean and safe work area and follows safety procedures.
• Performs in-process inspection and documents results.
• Uses overhead crane for loading/unloading parts into machine.
• Performs general machine maintenance such as changing coolant and lubricants.
• Carries out other duties as assigned.
