Job summary

Staccato Ammunition, based in Florence, Texas, seeks an Ammo Loader II to join a fast-growing team. You will set up and run Loading and Priming Machines, manage material storage for packaging, and follow SOPs to ensure quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in small warehouse operations is preferred.
• Lean/ISO 9001:2015 familiarity or equivalent process improvement experience.

• Routine safety practices and attention to detail are essential.

We are seeking an Ammo Loader II to join our hard-charging and fast-growing team. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Ammo Loader 2 will be responsible for setup and operation of Loading Machines. This role will be pivotal in the start-up and growth of a ground-up company. You will learn and become knowledgeable on the expected storage and protection of the materials to support the packaging and shipping process. You will be responsible for operating in accordance with our quality management system SOPs

Requirements

• Incoming and in-process visual and mechanical inspection of materials and products.
  Operate, maintain, and service Loading Machines.
• Operate, maintain, and service Priming Machines.
• Proficiency using calipers, dial indicators, and other calibrated precision equipment.
• Part picking, storage, and restock, including use of forklift and stairs.
• Accurately complete and document order process, in accordance with department SOPs.
• Package and move finished product, to facilitate Production operations.
• High attention to detail.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Understand and meet/exceed set departmental production and efficiency targets.
• Identify, resolve, and report employee safety issues or concerns.
• Resolve conflicts and issues in a professional, respectful manner.
• Ensure that all company policies, rules, and regulations are being adhered to.
• Maintain thorough understanding of rack and warehouse safety protocols.
• Daily communications with peers and management on the pulse of the department.
• Capable of working scheduled shifts in an industrial environment, including long periods of standing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to demonstrate proficiency and excellence in Ammo Loader 1 duties and responsibilities.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in small warehouse operations
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or proven track record of success using LEAN principles.
• Able to physically lift 40+ pounds repeatedly over an extended period of time each day.
• Flexibility to work 10-12 hours per day (not to exceed 40 hours per week)
• Capable of working scheduled shifts in an industrial environment, including long periods of standing.
• Must be able to pay attention to detail and exercise good judgement
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of machinery and ability to grasp technical concepts.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly
