Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create and optimize Mastercam programs for turning and milling. The role involves setting up CNC machines for prototype and production runs, and supporting both lathe and mill operations.

The ideal candidate will interpret blueprints, apply GD&T, and use CMM and precision tools for in-process and final inspections. Collaboration with manufacturing teams and continuous process improvement are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Mastercam programming experience.
• Experience using Mastercam version 19 or newer.
• Proven CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with both CNC milling and turning preferred.
• Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Experience with CNC machine setup and changeover.
• Experience with precision tooling setup.
• Experience using CMM and precision measurement instruments.
• Experience with micrometers and bore gauges.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Detail oriented and quality focused.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Conduct in process and final inspections.
• Use CMM, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Apply GD&T requirements to machining and inspection processes.
• Select and maintain appropriate tooling.
• Assist with fabrication activities when required.
• Identify and resolve machining and programming issues.
• Maintain quality and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with manufacturing and production teams.
• Support continuous improvement of machining and programming processes.
