Staffmark is seeking a Brake Press Operator in Memphis, TN for first shift. Pay ranges from $24.00 to $29.00 per hour and overtime is available.

The role requires setting up and operating brake press machinery, reading blueprints, selecting tooling, and ensuring parts meet dimension tolerances. This is a direct hire position with a 4x10 schedule, and benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a brake press and reading and interpreting blueprints or drawings.
• Ability to select, install, and align punches, dies and tooling.
• Experience maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust press brake machinery to produce metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
• Select, install, and align punches, dies, and tooling as required.
• Verify material type, dimensions, bend allowances, and finished part specs.
• Inspect completed parts and adjust machine for accuracy and quality.
• Follow safety procedures while meeting daily production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
