Job summary

Halperns' Steak & Seafood is seeking a Box Scaler in Grand Prairie, TX. You will weigh beef, pork, lamb, veal, and seafood and ensure boxes are labeled correctly for stock or customer orders. We offer medical/dental/vision benefits after 30 days, pre-tax savings, profit sharing, and growth opportunities.

Start pay is $20/hr with a schedule Sun–Fri 9:30am–7:30pm. You’ll work in a culture that values people, safety, and teamwork across multiple distribution facilities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and communicates in English.
• Works independently or in a team.
• Solves routine problems within policy.
• Perceives auditory safety signals in warehouse.
• Knowledge of production equipment.
• Understands Food Safety & Occupational Safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Weighs and labels boxes accurately and timely.
• Follows packing specifications and special instructions.
• Reads customer instructions accurately.
• Performs quality checks and reports defects.
• Inspects meat products for defects or blemishes.
• Offers assistance to team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
