You will read orders and drawings, adjust settings for precise thread specs, and inspect finished bolts for defects to ensure high quality and production efficiency.

The ideal candidate has experience with cold-heading, bolt-forming, or related fastener equipment, and can follow safety guidelines while maintaining accurate records and a clean work area.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required from an accredited institution.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and production specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Knowledge of each machine and its functions.
• Math skills to take precise measurements and calculations.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills for manufacturing plans.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bolt-making machines and related equipment.
• Read work orders, specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
• Adjust machine settings to meet dimensions and thread specs.
• Monitor production and make timely adjustments.
• Inspect finished bolts for defects and quality.
• Maintain production records and cleanliness; perform basic maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Communicate with supervisors, quality, and maintenance staff.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
