Job summary

Lesaffre North America is hiring a Blending Operator to support our manufacturing operations in Iowa. You will follow safety protocols, stage raw materials, mix blends per recipes, and package products for shipment. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, basic math, and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food product packaging or blending preferred.
• Shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and follow through to completion.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to organize work and work with minimal supervision.
• Computer proficiency required and basic math/science understanding.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and participate in safety programs.
• Stage raw and packaging materials as required.
• Mix blends according to recipes and document procedures.
• Package product in various packaging types and conduct in‑process checks.
• Prepare products for shipment and assist in loading trucks.
• Operate forklifts and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Report data accurately and maintain records.
