Job summary

Husqvarna Construction North America in Columbia, SC is seeking a hands-on operator to support grinding, brazing, and finishing operations on blades. You will load and machine segments, prepare cores, and move items between stations to maintain flow on a 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The role emphasizes safety, quality checks, and proper use of PPE. A high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and metric skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Facility with basic math and the metric system.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 20 lbs.
• Comfort standing and walking on concrete floors through full shifts.
• Consistent use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Load and machine segments to support precise radius grinding and OD grinding.
• Prepare cores by washing, sandblasting, and polishing.
• Move blades and materials between stations to sustain flow and throughput.
• Load, sharpen, mark, and mask blades for finishing.
• Hang and remove blades on the paint line.
• Follow OSHA/EPA regulations and all company safety policies.
