Job summary

CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense, located in Warren, MA, is hiring a Bench Machinist for the 3rd shift to operate specialized machinery and produce precision metal components to tight tolerances.

The role requires reading blueprints, setting up equipment, balancing parts, and maintaining tooling while adhering to safety procedures. A HS diploma and at least 3 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints/geometric tolerances.
• Must be familiar with machinist tools (micrometers, verniers, indicators, scales, dial bore gauge).
• Must have HS diploma or GED; minimum 3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain close tolerances and perform bench operations as per prints.
• Balance single and multiple rotors, propellers, impellers, screws and related parts up to machine capacity.
• Setups require use of bushings/arbors and proper mounting for balance operations.
• Record labor times and data on Process Control Sheets and forms.
