Job summary

CIRCOR International is seeking a skilled machinist lathe operator in Warren, MA to set up and run toolroom lathes, read blueprints, and perform precise machining with quality checks. Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED; concentration in machining would be a plus.
• Minimum of three years experience required.
• Must be able to read blueprints/geometric tolerances.
• Instrumentation/Gaging skills required; familiar with machinist tools and hand tools (micrometers, verniers, indicators, scales, dial bore gage).
• Must be open to coaching and training with a willingness to learn all machines within a cell.
• Some physical effort (avg. 25 lbs).
• US Citizenship is required for DOD requirements.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating a toolroom lathe.
• Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Using conversational controls and precision measurement tools.
• Performing machining operations.
• Conducting quality checks.
• Utilizing precision measurement devices.
• Monitoring machine operations.
• Plan and perform rough and finish machining.
• You will perform setups independently.
• Operate and understand advanced machine tools.
• Perform other duties as responsibilities necessitate.
